11 th March 2012 Our Hospital started functioning with launching OPD services

The Management and staff of MVR Medical Centre thank all the Consultants for making our hospital a trustworthy and affordable Diabetes care and Multispeciality Hospital in Pondicherry with state of the art Laboratory facilities. We thank the people of Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu for their continued support and having trust in our health care services.

We are pleased to announce that our team has successfully performed the first elbow replacement procedure in MVR. Patient is doing well and has been discharged home. We’d like to congratulate the operating team.

Glucometers were distributed freely to needy Diabetes Patients

Diabetic foot clinic has restarted to function. Foot care advice and foot exercises are taught to patients. There are tests to diagnose Diabetic peripheral neuropathy and Diabetic Cardiac autonomic neuropathy. During November(Diabetes month) free Fundus Photography was done for all diabetic patients and tests to detect diabetic complication were done at 20% discount.

Uncontrolled Diabetes with  diabetic neuropathy came with severe leg infection and high blood glucose value

After intensive treatment by Our Medical and Surgical Team ,improved very well and limb was saved

Dr.M.R.Vidhya, Medical Director & Senior Consultant Physician and Diabetologist, Gave a Lecture on "Reversal of Diabetes" on the eve of World Diabetes month at Sri manakula Vinayakar Medical College and Hospital.
